Bio

I am Aida. I work as orchestral conductor and a freelance actress. Despite my young age I’ve been successful in life from early age. Towards my art I am absolutely uncompromising, but not at all costs.

I am a creative person, and in tides of constant conflicts. I have roots deep in traditional values, and yet liberating myself from previous premises all the time. I am proud and humble, chaotic and organised, quiet and loud. I fill the space, and keep focusing to others.

I am flamboyant. I love colors, East-Asian aesthetics, and have studied them from young child. I could spend hours of spoiling myself with skin care routines.

I am improviser. I am a multi-disciplinary creator. My motto is: “always make others shine.” It is the basic rule of improvisation, and I believe also all interaction.

After graduating from Sibelius-Academy’s youth department, and getting into the symphony orchestra conducting class, known in Finnish as “kapuluokka” I’ve worked with numerous orchestras around the world. Instrumental background includes vocal, oboe and piano studies. I have a strong understanding of complicated work places as symphony orchestras. My solistic knowledge helps me to enjoy art and live with and through it.
