❭❭─❥─➣ Organology is an informal interterritorial network of co-conspirators operating in Robin Hood mode whenever advantageous for the arts in society. ❭❭─❥─➣

Working for over ten years now, the group’s perspective has broadened from classical music and society to art, education, and society, including the role of art education in society. We acknowledge that in today’s world artists have multiple and even contradictory professional identities and their jobs are often situation-specific and take place in trans-professional contexts. One of our key interests is to identify central conditions for artists and arts institutions to operate in and with society. We seek to 1) grant equal access to arts educational institutions for all, 2) highlight the need to critically scrutinize their participants’ backgrounds, expectations, and needs, and 3) investigate the alternative operational models of art schools.
